Senior Portraits Birmingham, AL

Senior portraits mark a transition — not just a milestone.

I photograph high school and college seniors in Birmingham, AL and surrounding areas who want portraits that feel natural, confident, and representative of who they are right now.

Sessions are thoughtfully planned and guided, with an emphasis on location, light, and expression rather than trends or overly styled setups.

FAQ

Do you photograph college seniors as well as high school seniors?

Yes. College senior sessions are available and can be tailored for graduation announcements, family portraits, and professional use.

Can these images be used for LinkedIn profiles or other social media profiles?

Yes. If you would like to use one of your images for your personal profile pictures that is fine. It may not be used on a company website as a headshot- that requires written permission from me and may require an additional fee to be used commercially. If you are unsure, please ask.

What is my investment?

My most popular option starts at $600. I also offer options for cap & gown mini sessions. A friend session is popular among college students where the focus is on the group with a a few individual photos taken of each person. These are reasonably priced at $200 per person with a minimum of 2 people if local and 3 people if you are 20+ miles from Birmingham.

Additionally I offer families with multiples (twins/triplets or a high school & college grad in same year) special pricing as these costs can really add up. Trust me, It's a really good offer!

Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?

Absolutely! I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. For college seniors and graduating students I can travel to your campus.

For high school seniors I have a selection of locations that I prefer to use but, I'm open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you.

How long does a typical photo session last?

Plan on setting aside a couple of hours. Session length may vary but I do my best to keep them to two hours.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?

I understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. My editing process typically takes 7-10 business days depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.

What Should I Wear?

Wardrobe guidance is provided before the session to help you choose outfits that photograph well and feel like you.
